Deposit and consignment fund will be established to facilitate the transparency of the property deals. This is set in the Law for deposit and consignment fund bill. Experts from the Ministry of finance are involved in its preparation. All payments for property deals, notary taxes and fees collected by the execute magistrates will be deposited in this fund. This will help the government to monitor them and to track the money origin in cases of money laundering. Stating a lower selling price in the title deed than the actual one will be also controlled so that payment of lower notary fees to be avoided. This will be a unique public-financial institution in Bulgaria. There is a similar one on France.
