Payments for purchasing real estate properties which are in total over 10 000 BGN will be made to a special account of the notary or bank account chosen by the seller and buyer. Both parties shall determine the payment conditions and the amount due by written agreement between them and the notary. These changes in the law require also both buyer and seller to declare that the amount specifies in the agreement is actually received. The changes will come into effect on July 1, 2011.
