National Geographic Channel reporters are in Bulgaria to make films about local tourism. The videos are dedicated to Bulgarian cultural and historical monuments in order to present the country as an attractive tourist destination and a region with a unique spiritual heritage. Among the places of interest are Sofia, Veliko Turnovo, Arbanassi - ethnographic complex museum, Kazanlak and Plovdiv. The visit is organized by the Ministry of Economy and Energy under the project "Conducting a year-round advertising campaign for Destination Bulgaria's leading pan-European TV channels. As a result, in 2011 National Geographic Channel will broadcast four reportages about Bulgarian tourism.
