The Bulgarian deputies voted amendments to the Law for ownership and adopted the term for the acquisition of state and municipal properties through prescription to be limited until December 31st 2011. The change is proposed by the members of Coalition for Bulgaria - Stoiko Tankov and Boyko Velikov who believe that it will provide the needed time for municipalities and government agencies to make a full inventory of the properties. They have requested the period for limitation on the acquisition of state and municipal property to be extended until December 31st 2013. The proposal for second revision of the law-project raised dispute but after 15-minute break requested by National Movement Simeon II, the deputies proceed to it. The deputies adopted the proposal of the legal committee for three years term for limitation of acquisition of properties through prescription, instead of the one of the deputies for five years.
